Affiliate Marketing As An Additional Profit Stream [PODCAST]

Today, we’re going to talk about affiliate marketing, and how to use it to boost your online sales and revenues by promoting other people’s products for a commission!

If you’re new to affiliate marketing, that might sound a little weird but it’ll make sense after you listen to the show.

For those of you who are a bit more seasoned, you’ll be able to dig into the podcast right away :0)

Basically, affiliate marketing is where you can promote and sell other people’s products and get commission for every sale that’s made.  Amazon has an affiliate program, as well as most other major online retailers.

One of the biggest retailers of digital products and courses online is Clickbank, which will pay out commissions of 50% and 75%, depending on how the product owner sets them up.  Another bigger one is JVzoo.com, which offers real time payments to your Paypal account.

The important thing to realize though, is that affiliate marketing should be considered one ‘profit stream’ as opposed to your entire business model.  Yes, you can make great money promoting affiliate products, but you’re at the mercy of a lot of variables outside of your control, most of the time.

If you’re building a list though, and then marketing to that list, you’ve got the best of both worlds!
